The dog mattress, designed by the same engineering team behind all of Casper's sleep products, is a universally comfortable sleep surface for our four-legged friends. Combining their mattress-making expertise with extensive dog-centered research, the team has created a sleep environment that caters to canines' natural behaviors.

Pups spend more than half their lives sleeping, and if any species deserves an outrageously comfortable sleep surface, it's dogs. To that end, the mattress features pressure-relieving memory foam and durable support foam, creating a bed that loves Fido back.

Even the most well-behaved dogs have bad days, but the durable cover material used in this bed is one of the strongest bonded microfibers available, similar to materials used in performance footwear designed to withstand years of abuse. This ensures the bed will keep its shape, without sinking, slumping, or sagging over time.

Dogs have an instinct to scratch or dig before laying down, inherited from their wild ancestors who would kick up dirt to find cooler ground and brush away debris before turning in for the night. The mattress surface features excess material on top to mimic the sensation of pawing at loose earth, allowing dogs to satisfy this natural behavior.

There's a reason pups like to squeeze into tight spaces – they've learned to seek refuge from predators, and feel safest in enclosed areas. The supportive foam bolsters of the mattress create a safe space for dogs to lay their heads, both literally and figuratively.

The mattress features a 2-layer foam construction, with visco elastic memory foam and polyurethane support foam, and a cover made of a blend of nylon, polyester, and olefin. Some assembly is required, and the cover can be removed and washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumbled dry on low heat. If needed, an enzyme-based spot cleaner can be used to remove tough stains.
